A Few Neighborhood Makers

We've got a ton of great makers right here in our own neighborhood of Kenton and North Portland, check out a few of our favorite and most popular brands below, or stop in the store to get the scoop on these plus more.

Orox:  Family-run Orox started four generations ago in Oaxaca, Mexico (their name is a combination of their past and present in Oregon and Oaxaca).  In 1933, Felipe started crafting leather baseball gloves and belts for his own team, and now, Orox produces some of the finest leather goods you can find.  From purses and wallets, to cord minders and wine totes, we are proud to offer these products, of not only high quality, but of deep family tradition and history, to our customers today. Prices start at $10.

Tamara Bryan:  Tamara has been crafting things with her hands all her life and found her true calling working with clay. Inspired by nature and open spaces, her work is earthy, yet refined and polished. She works every piece by hand, either on the wheel or built by hand, to create items that are truly one-of-a-kind.  We love our current set of plates (pictured above) that will never go out of style and can be easily mixed with other pieces. Prices start at $28.

Minimal in design, her mugs, plates, pitchers, planters, and bowls, will surely be a new favorite in your home (that is if you can get here fast enough before they fly off the shelves!) Prices start at $28.
